As a New Jersey Immigration Lawyer, I was recently asked if a man could sponsor his 17 year old daughter who was living in Mexico for the past 8 months.
- You must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to file for citizenship (naturalization).
- You must reside in the US for at least three months.
- This process will take four to six months.
